Student Registration

Student registration opens on Wednesday, February 6 at 7:00 a.m. PST, and closes on Friday, February 15 at 11:00 p.m. PST.

Registration Fee

Parliamentary Debate: $45 per competitor

Deadlines

1. Registration closes on February 19th, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.
2. Full payment must be made via PayPal through the tournament website by the close of registration, or the competitor and their partner will be dropped from the tournament.
3. No refunds will be issued in the event of a cancellation after February 19th at 11:59 p.m.

Registration Requirements

Parliamentary debaters should check with their partners to ensure that they are also registered. A team is not registered until both partners are registered. One registered student does not hold a space for the team. Each student in a Parli team must be fully registered and payment must be completed by the close of registration on February 15th at 11:00 p.m. Otherwise, you will be removed from the tournament, and we will contact the next team on the wait list. So call your partner now!

Also, when you call that partner, please check with your partner for the correct name that your partner has used when registering and use that same exact name in the partner box. Send an email to our registration team (NIHDCamp@gmail.com) if there are any corrections or questions.

Refunds

If you decide to drop from the tournament prior to 11:00 p.m. on February 15th, we can offer you a refund. You must request the refund. It does not happen automatically. Email the registrar at NIHDCamp@gmail.com no later than February 15th at 11:00 p.m. to drop and request a refund.

After February 15th, we will have made plans based on the number of competitors that have registered and, as a result, there can be no refunds in the event of a drop. The tournament needs to make important budgeting decisions (reserving rooms, buying trophies and supplies, etc.) based on the number of competitors who have registered and paid. For this reason, we do not offer refunds after registration closes on February 15th at 11:00 p.m. We do need to know as soon as possible if a team is going to drop from the tournament so that we can prepare appropriately. Please let us know right away if you need to drop.
